Service Description: FEMA flood zone boundaries in the City of Loveland, Colorado. The geographic extent of this layer is primarily associated with the floodplain of the Big Thompson River. The new floodplain mapping is considered “preliminary” by FEMA, but is already being used for regulatory purposes by both the City of Loveland and Larimer County as the best available data. FEMA is expected to adopt the new mapping as “effective” in the spring of 2023.
